For this Privacy Policy, “baby.money”, “Platform”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Fluential Wealth Technologies Private Limited operating through the baby.money brand. “You” and “your” mean any person who visits, registers on, uses or transacts through the Platform, including a parent, lawful guardian, contributor or prospective user.

baby.money is designed for parents and lawful guardians who want to plan and invest for a child’s future. Because the Platform may involve financial transactions, KYC, mutual fund investments and child-related information, we collect certain information that is necessary to provide the service, comply with law, verify identity, process transactions, show portfolio information, provide support and keep the Platform safe.

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including your name, mobile number, email address, PAN, date of birth, gender, address, occupation, income range, source of income, tax status, FATCA and CRS details, bank account details, cancelled cheque or bank proof, signature, photograph, KYC details, nominee details, guardian details, relationship details, declarations, documents, transaction instructions and support requests. Where you create a child account, we may collect child-related information such as the child’s name, date of birth, relationship with you, identity proof, bank-related details where required, and documents needed for minor investment journeys.

We may also collect information automatically when you use the Platform, such as device details, IP address, app usage data, browser details, operating system, login records, session details, transaction logs, crash logs, cookies, analytics data and security-related information. This helps us maintain the Platform, detect errors, improve security, prevent fraud, understand usage and improve our services.

Some information may be collected or verified from authorised third parties, including AMCs, RTAs, KYC Registration Agencies, CKYC systems, banks, payment partners, mandate service providers, government-enabled verification systems, technology partners and other lawful sources required for completing your onboarding, KYC, transactions, payments, portfolio display and regulatory obligations.

We use your information to create and maintain your account, verify your identity, complete KYC and compliance checks, create child accounts, process mutual fund transactions, facilitate payments and mandates, show portfolio and transaction information, send service updates, provide customer support, prevent fraud, detect suspicious activity, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maintain audit records, improve the Platform and communicate with you.

We may use your profile and usage information to personalise your Platform experience, such as showing relevant child goals, reminders, educational content, investment journeys or service messages. This personalisation is intended to improve your experience and does not mean that we are providing personalised investment advice unless we specifically hold and disclose a regulatory registration for such advisory activity.

We may process child-related data only when provided by a parent or lawful guardian and only for lawful purposes connected with the Platform, such as child account creation, minor investment facilitation, guardian verification, mutual fund folio creation, KYC, documentation, portfolio display, goal planning, statements, reports, contributions, customer support and regulatory compliance. By providing child information, you confirm that you are authorised to provide such information and consent.

The Platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly allow children to independently register, transact or operate accounts on the Platform. We do not knowingly undertake targeted advertising directed at children and do not knowingly process child data in a manner likely to cause detrimental effect to the child’s well-being. You should not upload unnecessary photographs, school details, health information, identity details or other sensitive information of a child unless specifically required for a lawful Platform or transaction purpose.

We may share your information with AMCs, RTAs, KYC Registration Agencies, CKYC Registry, banks, payment gateways, mandate service providers, exchange or clearing infrastructure where applicable, technology providers, cloud providers, analytics providers, communication providers, customer support providers, auditors, legal advisors, consultants, regulators, courts, law enforcement authorities and other parties where necessary to provide the services, process transactions, comply with law, protect rights or prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers. We may use aggregated, anonymised or de-identified data for analytics, research, reporting, product improvement, business planning and service development, provided such data does not directly identify you.

The Platform may use cookies, device identifiers, software development kits, analytics tools, logs and similar technologies to maintain sessions, recognise devices, improve security, understand usage, fix bugs, prevent fraud and improve the Platform. You may be able to disable cookies or limit tracking through your browser or device settings, but some features may not function properly.

We take reasonable technical, organisational and operational measures to protect your information. These measures may include encryption, access controls, authentication, monitoring, logging, secure transmission, network controls, vendor controls and internal policies. However, no digital platform, mobile device, internet transmission, database or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your mobile device, SIM, email, passwords, OTPs, PINs, biometric access and bank credentials secure.

We retain information for as long as required to provide the services, comply with law, meet regulatory and audit obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, process transactions, maintain records and handle grievances. Mutual fund transaction records, KYC records, payment records, mandate records and compliance records may need to be retained even if you delete your Platform account. Deletion of your baby.money account does not delete records maintained by AMCs, RTAs, KRAs, banks, payment systems or regulators.

You may request correction, update, access or deletion of your information by writing to support@fluential.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing such requests. Some requests may not be accepted fully if the information is required for legal, regulatory, audit, fraud prevention, transaction, tax, grievance or contractual purposes. If you withdraw consent or request deletion of essential information, we may not be able to continue providing some or all services.

By using the Platform, you consent to receive communications through in-app notifications, push notifications, email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, IVR, postal communication and other electronic or physical modes. These may include OTPs, transaction updates, KYC updates, payment updates, SIP reminders, portfolio alerts, service messages, support responses, regulatory notices, educational content, product updates and promotional communications. You may opt out of promotional communications where available, but service, transactional, regulatory and security communications may continue.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services or documents, including AMCs, RTAs, payment partners and other service providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of third-party websites or services.

If the Company undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, financing, business transfer, insolvency process or change of control, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to legal, regulatory, operational, product, partner or technology changes. Updated versions will be made available on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after such update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
